Kate Fazio

As a former artist, Kate was drawn to yoga by her natural tendency to explore the meaning and beauty in daily life. Her personal practice and teaching style are informed by her training in vinyasa flow and restorative yoga, as well as her past experience in weightlifting, running, and dance. She has a special interest in creative transitions and precise movement to build strength and control in a balanced and beautiful flow. Kate is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level as well as a Certified Herbalist, offering a holistic approach to personal fitness and wellness.

Kate Fazio instructs the following:
  • Strong Flow Yoga
  • Respiration, inspiration, perspiration. This empowering practice brings the fire of strength and interval training into yogic breath, movement, and mindfulness. An engaging mix of fast and slow flow, burning holds and burn-out repetitions, potentially graceful transitions, and well-earned rest and release keep the practice fresh and fierce. Build awareness and athleticism to truly know your strength. Conjure up your personal power. Unleash the warrior within.

  • All-Levels Yoga
  • This class welcomes all ability levels with a focus on stretching, building strength, & balance. Come and awaken the energy in your body to feel rejuvenated and healthy.

  • Gentle/Restorative Yoga
  • Combines warm-ups, gentle and restorative postures, yogic breathing, and guided deep relaxation to reduce stress and increase movement and vitality. Good for all levels & abilities. 

  • Final Friday Happy Hour Yoga Social
  • Ready for Yoga and Wine/Beer? Join us on the last Friday of the summer months at 6:00pm for a fun-filled yoga class and funky playlist followed by social time at a local restaurant.

  • This yoga class looks to add strength building using light weights. Yoga Tone will increase your body strength and muscle tone while building yoga poses.
