Sara´s background in movement and medicine highly instructs her unique teaching style. She was a ballet and modern dancer for over ten years, and then studied and worked in medicine for over five. Her teaching focuses on allowing the body to strengthen as a whole, giving a nod to the Alexander Technique, which she continues to study with an AT teacher, since January 2015. Sara guides you to become self-aware of, and then un-learn habitual body movements and postures that can cause stiffness, strain, or injury. She received her 200-hour certification through Akasha Yoga School, studying with Reverend Anthe Kelley, E-RYT, as well as training in restorative yoga.
