Teens today experience a lot of pressure, including self-inflicted pressure. Yoga helps to reduce the anxiety brought on by stress, social pressures and insecurity. Yoga teaches teens to be confident in what they can do, how they feel and who they are right now. This fun and enlightening series will help teens manage stress, find balance, and build self confidence through the art of yoga.

Students will learn:

  • yoga poses that will improve strength, flexibility, body awareness and focus
  • relaxation
  • breathing techniques
  • introduction to meditation and energy work
These skills can begin a lifelong practice of maintaining a healthy body, mind and spirit.

Teens need a break too!
Ages 12 - 19 welcome
